Music holds an important place in our lives. We use songs and rhythms to learn our alphabet and numbers. We are comforted by some lyrics and energized by beats. A particular song has the ability to transport us to moments and to memories.
So, I was interested to know the story behind the theme The Power of Music for the Chicago Philharmonic’s next event, and why the concert and fundraiser was going to be hosted at the Midwest Palliative and Hospice Care Center, an unusual venue choice.
